Orthopedics

Low-temperature thermoplastics (LTTP) are the materials that are widely used to fabricate patient-customizable splints, braces and/or supports. LTTP material activates in relatively low heat conditions (e.g., water between 60-75C). Unlike the high-temperature thermoplastics, after warming up, LTTP materials can be placed directly on the patient while molding the splint.

Modern “dynamic” methods of bone fracture and other treatments in orthopedic practice aim to eliminate the complications from the use of rigid and long-term immobilization with plaster or synthetic casting materials. Current state-of-the-art treatment approaches in orthopedics favor intermittent use of immobilization in combination with limited exercise and physiological stress on the injured bone in order to stimulate the healing process.  LTTP materials, because of the ease of application, removal and re-installation, allow for limited and safe mobilization of the injured extremities, a condition that is desirable for optimal recovery, functional treatment or additional therapy.

Turbocast®
Turbocast®
TURBOCAST® is a unique low temperature thermoplastic material with thin foam coating on both sides. It is ideal for splinting, casting and bracing applications.
Turbocast® Ortho
Turbocast® Ortho
Turbocast® Ortho turns transparent when heated which is an excellent indication that the material is ready for application
Turbocast® Ortho STIFF
Turbocast® Ortho STIFF
Plastic with reduced drape that allows maximal control of the material during molding.
Turbocast® Ortho Non Sticky
Turbocast® Ortho Non Sticky
A versatile type of thermoplastic material that can support a wide range of immobilization applications. Both soft and stiff versions are available depending on the size and
Turbocast® Rolls
Turbocast® Rolls
The product, a thermoplastic material with foam coating, is designed to be applied as a first aid for immobilization of the injuries to fingers and wrist.
Turbocast® strips
Turbocast® strips
Turbocast® strips are part of Turbocast® product family.
Turbocast® product family is based on a very flexible thermoplastic material with foam coating on both sides and  is used widely in occupational
B-cast
B-cast
Non-stick material with advanced handling characteristics. This thermoplastic was designed for moderate resistance to stretching that allows the splint-maker to fabricate any type of splints without material
Beachcast
Beachcast
Opaque-when-heated material that was engineered to provide superior draping qualities! BEACHCAST is a rigid and light-weight thermoplastic that does not shrink.
IMMO+
IMMO+
This thermoplastic material combines complete conformability and optimal stretch resistance. The material becomes transparent when heated in a water bath and super strong when it cools to
IMMO+ Non Sticky
IMMO+ Non Sticky
This material  has a thin surface coating that prevents accidental self-adherence during molding. It is an easy to use splinting material with additional working time and full
